Management Bios
Kurt G. Conti - Chief Executive Officer/President of The Conti Group
Mr. Conti possesses over twenty years of business experience and provides
leadership to The Conti Group, which encompasses Conti Enterprises, Inc.,
Conti Environment & Infrastructure, Inc., Conti Remediation, LLC, Citadel, LLC,
Conti of New York, LLC, Alternity Power, LLC and Oakwood Capital, LLC.
Upon graduation from Villanova University, he joined The Conti Group, a
construction/engineer firm headquartered in New Jersey. Starting from the ground floor
up, Kurt worked in every functional position at Conti, moved through management and
assumed the leadership for the business when he became CEO and president in 1995.
Kurt has strengthened The Conti Group from its previous $15 million in annual revenue
to over $350 million since his tenure, and has transformed the company from a small
organization into its current position as a market leader.

William Picken, the Chief Operating Officer
of
Conti Enterprises, Inc., has over thirty years of heavy / civil, industrial,
power, transportation, and environmental construction experience. He graduated
from Union College with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and completed a Key
Executive Program from the Harvard Business School in 2000. Mr. Picken
has spent the past 20 years with the Conti Companies and currently has
overall operational responsibility for Conti Enterprises, Inc. Mr. Picken
manages and oversees the estimating, engineering, and project management
functions of the company.
Jon Murphy, the Executive Vice President
of
the Conti Companies, has over thirty-four years of experience in heavy/civil
construction. Mr. Murphy completed his undergraduate studies in Civil
Engineering Technology at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and graduated
from a Key Executive Program from Harvard Business School. After a tour
of duty in Vietnam with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mr. Murphy began
working as a general laborer and steadily advanced his position to become
the Executive Vice President. He is responsible for the management of
all field operations including scheduling, personnel, labor relations,
and technical construction oversight and is the company's representative
to all labor unions. Mr. Murphy serves on the Executive Board of the Utility
and Transportation Association and the Construction Industry Advancement
Program of New Jersey.
Mark Liebes, the Vice President of Construction
for Conti Enterprises, Inc., has twenty-five years of experience in heavy/civil
and environmental construction and is thoroughly skilled in performing
large-scale, complex projects within those areas. Mr. Liebes earned his
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of
Technology and completed the General Managers Program at Harvard Business
School. He is responsible for directing the distribution of the labor
and equipment resources and coordinating the activities of the Superintendents
on the projects. Mr. Liebes is the primary management person responsible
for field operations and the key link in providing the field work force
with proper training and with communicating and maintaining Conti's corporate
work philosophies.
Jay Price, the Executive Vice President of Business Development
for Conti Enterprises, Inc. and Conti of New York, LLC, has over fifteen
years of experience in the construction industry and is committed to identifying
new emerging markets in the industry in order to position the firm as
a market leader/first adopter. Mr. Price attended the University of Mississippi,
studying under their Marine Biology program. He went on to graduate from
programs such as the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School,
Competitive Marketing Strategy at Columbia University Graduate School
of Business, and Business Management at Memphis State University. Mr.
Price is accountable for maintaining existing market segments and clients
for repeat business. He is responsible for the supervision and coordination
of all prequalification submittals, proposals for bidding opportunities,
preparation of project specific presentations, and follow up with the
client post bid. Mr. Price is involved with the training of new hires
as to their responsibility in the sales and marketing of the company.
Mr. Price also serves on the Board of Directors for the Utility and
Transportation Contractors Association (UTCA).
Patrick Hogan, the Vice President of Engineering and Project Management
for
Conti Enterprises, Inc., has fifteen years of experience in the construction
industry and oversees the activities of all the Project Engineers and
Project Managers assigned to the various projects under construction.
Mr. Hogan earned his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University
of Delaware and has completed the General Managers Program
at Harvard Business School. He is instrumental in directing the on-site
construction engineering activities and project coordination. Mr. Hogan
manages the resource loaded schedules, material procurement, value engineering,
project designs, quality control process, and the health and safety policies
and procedures.
Aldo Gonzalez, the Director of Health and Safety
for the Conti Companies, has twenty years of experience in industrial
hygiene and health and safety on heavy/civil and hazardous remediation
sites. Mr. Gonzalez's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree
in Safety Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a
certificate from the Community College of the Air Force for Bioenvironmental
Engineering. He is a Certified Safety Professional and served as a Bio-environmental
Engineering Technician in the US Air Force where he also conducted both
industrial hygiene and environmental surveys. Mr. Gonzalez is committed
to ensuring the health and safety of all Conti employees and subcontractor
personnel. He is responsible for the development and implementation of
Conti's Corporate Health and Safety policies. Mr. Gonzalez oversees all
field activities to ensure conformance with federal and state regulations,
corporate policies, and the requirements of site-specific health and safety
plans.
