Our internship program takes place on project construction sites and in the office environment. You will work one-on-one with other engineers, field supervisors, and business professionals on a project. You will be given real responsibilities and have the opportunity to present your summer experiences to Senior Managers at the end of the internship. You will be tasked with learning about and being involved with procurement, scheduling, shop drawings, document control, estimating, change management, accounts payable, and sales and marketing. In addition to all of this hard-work, you will have social and networking events to give you the opportunity to meet key executives and colleagues.
Graduating Seniors
Each year in the fall and spring, we conduct nationwide college recruiting for graduating seniors who are looking for their beginning career opportunities. The first role for graduating seniors may include field engineering that can lead to several career paths including estimating, project controls, project management, field supervision, strategy, and business management.
Interns & College Graduates
At Conti, we make a concerted effort to recruit top caliber people from the foremost civil, mechanical and electrical engineering, construction management, and business programs. Starting with our internship program to college recruiting for graduating seniors, we are constantly looking for the next leaders of our company.
Conti college grads experience an extensive New Hire Orientation and Basic Training program which kicks off their career at Conti. This is followed with the real time peer mentoring, as well as management coaching and more formal training opportunities. Involved in team problem solving sessions and daily planning meetings, our intern and post-college staff are quickly able to take on challenging assignments that really make a difference to the company – and to their own careers.
The Conti Leadership Development Program (CLDP) is evidence that Conti believes in investing in the people and places a high value on employee development. The program’s intent is to generate the future leaders of The Conti Group. It is an advanced program to which junior employees may be nominated after 1 year of service. The program offers specialized training including several rotations over four years across the company, resulting in potential leadership roles at an earlier career stage for accepted candidates.
We expect all Conti employees to exhibit the core principles of honesty, integrity, and credibility, as well as having a good work ethic. If you are interested in applying for an internship or if you are a graduating senior, complete the online application to begin the Conti Experience!
